Our office is designed with you in mind. The beautiful, cozy furnishings will remind you of the comfort of your own home. In your treatment room, you can listen to music, if you choose to.
We also believe patient comfort is linked to technological advances. We are dedicated to providing state-of-the-art dental care, which is why we routinely attend continuing education classes and research the latest advances in dental technology. Some of the technology available in our office includes:
CT/ Cone Beam Scanner

Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is used to visualize the oral anatomy. This technology can detect abnormalities present in the teeth, jawbone, and oral soft tissue. A CT scanner rotates 360 degrees around the head to obtain all necessary information. It captures thousands of images and then stitches them together. The result is a 3D representation of your dental anatomy and is simple, non-invasive, and takes about a minute to complete. It’s one of Dr. Farian’s best technologies for complex endodontic cases, and it’s incredibly useful for other procedures such as dental implant placement and tooth extraction.
Intraoral Camera

This small, camera-tipped wand will enable you to finally see your smile from your dentist’s point of view. It can be easily maneuvered inside the mouth to capture high-resolution images of your teeth and gums, which we can instantly show you on a chairside monitor. This will not only make it much easier for us to spot dental issues, but it’ll also give you an opportunity to better understand your oral health.
Intraoral Scanner & Digital Impression System

Our intraoral scanner eliminates the need for messy dental impressions and makes capturing digital impressions fast and easy. To take the impressions, one of our doctors scans your mouth with a small handheld device (wand). As the wand passes over your teeth, it captures thousands of images and sends them to a computer software program.
The pictures are stitched together to create a 3-D virtual model of your dental anatomy. In most cases, this process can be completed in about 5 minutes. Digital impressions are more comfortable, more accurate, and faster than traditional molds that use dental putty. The images are stored electronically and can be shared with a dental lab in minutes, minimizing the wait time for placement of your custom restorations. These scans are an integral part of the process of making crowns, bridges, dental implants, and mouthguards, among other things.
Digital X-Rays

Dental problems occur not only on the surface of the teeth but in many places hidden from the naked eye as well. In order to improve our diagnostic services, we’ve invested in digital X-rays. As opposed to traditional, film-based X-rays, they require only a fraction of the time to develop and don’t require toxic chemicals to do so. They can be easily stored and sent as well. Even better, they also reduce radiation exposure by up to 90%!
Sedation Dentistry

Occasionally, patients can suffer from dental anxiety, which is a very real problem for some patients. If you are someone who has postponed needed dental care due to fear of a dental visit, we are here to help you. We offer nitrous oxide sedation for all procedures through the use of a state-of-the-art delivery system in each treatment room.
Additionally, we offer oral sedation through the use of a simple tablet taken one hour before your appointment. Unlike nitrous oxide, patients will need to have an escort who can drive them to and from our office. It is our mission to provide a safe, comfortable, anxiety-free appointment for you.
